Tier lists (Rotation)
Post your Rotation tier lists as image cards in Discord, browse profiles, compare with friends and see how your server ranks an album.
Rotation (opens in a new tab) is the music tier list site. /tierlist
(prefix ,tierlist or ,tl) brings it into Discord. It's free in any server Righteous is in. Anywhere else
needs Self Premium (see Use it in DMs).
Righteous only shows what Rotation already lets people see. Linking, ratings and privacy are in
Rotation account and privacy.
Link your account
You don't need to be linked to browse a member's public lists. To post your own lists, compare or rate, link first: see Link your account.
Post a tier list
Syntax
/tierlist album <list> [user] [style] [public]
Example
/tierlist album list:goodbye & good riddance style:text
/tierlist album,
artist and
discography each post their own kind. The list box
suggests your lists, newest first. On the prefix, ,tierlist album [@member] [title] [--text] does the same.

| Option | Does |
|---|---|
user | Show a member's public lists instead. You don't need to be linked to browse |
style | image (default) or text. The Show as text / Show card button flips it for 10 minutes, for you only |
public | On by default. public:false shows the reply to you alone |
More options restyle one post, such as theme, per_tier (1 to 50) and note (up to 120 characters, your
own lists only, slash only); the command page lists them all.
Nothing is saved, so the next post goes back to your look from Share on Rotation. On the prefix they are flags
like --theme=spotify.
See a profile or recent lists
Syntax
/tierlist recent [user] [type] [kind] [public]
Example
/tierlist recent user:@Sam type:rated
/tierlist profile summarizes a member, and
/tierlist recent lists their latest lists with cards for the
newest four. type is ranked (default), rated (albums with average rating) or all; kind narrows ranked
lists and can't combine with rated. A public reply shows what others see; for your full view use
public:false (why).
/tierlist ratings posts one of your album rating lists as a
card or style:text.
Compare with a friend
Syntax
/tierlist compare <user> <list> [their_list] [public]
Example
/tierlist compare user:@Sam list:goodbye & good riddance
/tierlist compare (alias vs) scores how closely your list
matches theirs for the same subject. They need to be linked with a public list of it, and you need at least
three items in common. Pick theirs with their_list, or on the prefix add | title.
See how your server ranks an album
Syntax
/tierlist server <kind> <subject> [public]
Example
/tierlist server kind:album subject:goodbye & good riddance
/tierlist server merges the public lists of this server's
linked members into one tier list, with votes per item. It needs at least two such members, and it only works
in a server Righteous is in. Private lists and members who hide their lists never count. For artists, pick
Everyone's artist rankings in this server, or use ,tierlist server artist.
/lastfm tierlist stats does it for the album you're playing.
Common issues
The list box is empty. Check you used the right kind (an album list won't show under artist), the list
has something ranked, and you're linked. With user set, it only shows their public lists.
"Link your Rotation account first," a private list a friend can't see, or a profile that looks different from the site. See Rotation account and privacy.
