Refund Policy

Every Righteous subscription is a recurring, auto-renewing charge: it renews automatically at the interval and price you signed up for, using the payment method on file, until you cancel. That’s true for both Premium tiers and the Bot Purchase’s monthly option:

• Self Premium: $2.99/month or $29.99/year.
• Server Premium: $7.99/month or $79.99/year.
• Bot Purchase: $4.99/month, or a one-time $14.99 with no renewal at all.

We charge the card on file each renewal without asking again first. You can cancel anytime before the next renewal date, see How to cancel below, and cancelling stops future charges without cutting off the period you already paid for.

Purchases are non-refundable, except where the law where you live requires us to offer one. You can cancel a subscription at any time, and it stays active for the rest of the period you’ve already paid for. You’re never cut off mid-period for cancelling.

Run ,donate and use Manage subscription to open Stripe’s Billing Portal, where you can cancel yourself at any time. Access continues until the end of the period you’ve already paid for; it doesn’t stop the moment you cancel.

We don’t offer plan switching directly: to move from one tier to another, cancel the one you’re on and subscribe to the one you want.

If you can’t reach the bot for any reason — it’s down, you’ve left the server, you no longer have access to the account you subscribed from — email righteouscord@gmail.com and we’ll cancel it for you. A cancellation route that only works while a Discord bot is reachable isn’t one.

A part-used billing period isn’t refunded when you cancel. You keep access through the period you paid for and simply aren’t charged again. Completed billing periods aren’t refunded after the fact.

A refund, or a payment dispute (a chargeback) decided in your favor, doesn’t automatically remove whatever the payment had unlocked. We handle those by hand, on a case-by-case basis. A disputed charge is often a stolen card being used against someone who did nothing wrong, so we don’t want an automatic system punishing the wrong person.

Stripe is the merchant of record for your purchase (see Terms), so your receipt and any dispute filed with your bank go through Stripe. For anything about what your purchase unlocks in Righteous itself, ask in the support server below.
